n Japan, the sport is privitized. You can only buy equipment from the Japan Sport Fukiya Association (JSFA), you must be a paid up member to participate, you pay to shoot, you pay to get training, trainers pay to be certified, etc. Any non-sanctioned contests, etc. are not recognized. Sport Blowgun as a term has been copy written in Japan. The founder is a multi-millionaire. He got the idea fro the sport from Dr. Hironori Higuchi for free!
