Yes they are I have a bit of a collection of those some back to 1965'ish when they were introduced. A very nice affordable knife to the day.

Two things blowguns have going for them over slingshots: They don't lose any performance in the cold and you can shoot them effectively while wearing gloves.

I was resistant at first but I think it's about time for a homemade blowgun. What diameter of copper pipe makes a .40cal?

If you have calipers take them with you and then measure the i.d of the bore. You want to see .40 in showing on readout.

Wish I had some good advice for ya. I keep a supply of oscillococcinum on hand--just in case. It really does minimize the symptoms. Wipes out the body aches and fever, and gets you over it pretty quick if taken at first sign of symptoms. Drink lots of hot liquids to stay hydrated and detoxify.
